A little news story on SciFi.com says that Winona Ryder will play Spock’s Mom in the upcoming Star Trek movie. It doesn’t say she’s working on it in her imdb.com entry, but perhaps they haven’t updated it yet. Here’s a link to the story on Variety: Linkage
